Connect Google Search Console to AI
Connecting Google Search Console to Zylx takes one Google sign-in — a single Zylx-owned, read-only grant that also covers GA4 and Google Ads. There are no client IDs to create and no Google Cloud project to configure; scopes are requested incrementally, so you grant only what you actually use. Zylx reads your search queries, clicks, impressions, positions, pages, index coverage, and sitemaps, and feeds that search-performance context into your Business Brain.
The connection is read-only. There are no Search Console write actions — AI assistants analyze your search data; they cannot change anything in Search Console.
How the connection is wired
Search Console is never wired directly to an AI model. Zylx holds the read-only grant, maintains the search-performance context, and serves it over MCP to the AI clients you authorize.
What Zylx reads
With the read-only Google grant in place, Zylx reads:
- Search queries
- Clicks
- Impressions
- Average positions
- Pages
- Index coverage
- Sitemaps
How fresh is the data?
Search Console data is queried when an assistant asks, and refreshed in the background roughly twice an hour with a fuller rebuild daily. Bear in mind Google's own reporting lag: Search Console data is typically a couple of days behind, and Zylx cannot make it fresher than Google publishes it.
Search Console is read-only in Zylx. It does not:
- Submit URLs to Google for indexing — Zylx lists indexing candidates for you to act on
- Add, remove or modify sitemaps
- Change any Search Console property setting
What enters the Business Brain
Search performance becomes part of the Business Brain: which queries bring people to your site, which pages earn clicks, where rankings sit, and what Google has actually indexed. Combined with your analytics and revenue connections, search data stops living in its own silo.
The Business Brain is the persistent, structured context layer that Zylx Studio builds from every connection and keeps current automatically.
What AI assistants can do
An authorized AI client can analyze your real search performance over MCP:
Read & analyze
- Analyze queries, clicks, impressions, and CTR from actual Search Console data
- Find position opportunities — queries ranking just off page one, pages with high impressions but low clicks
- Check index coverage and sitemap status when diagnosing visibility issues
This connection is read-only. There are no write actions against Search Console — nothing for AI to change, so nothing to gate. Access happens over MCP — an authorized, workspace-scoped connection for Claude, ChatGPT, and other compatible clients. Setup differs by product: connect Claude or connect ChatGPT.
You stay in control
The grant is a single Zylx-owned, read-only Google sign-in with incremental scopes: you approve exactly what Zylx reads, and nothing more. There's no client ID to create and no credentials of yours for Zylx to hold beyond the revocable grant itself.
What disconnecting does
Disconnecting revokes the Google grant. Search-performance context stops flowing into the Business Brain, and AI clients lose access to your Search Console data.
Google Search Console + AI FAQ
Can Claude read my Search Console data?
Yes. Once you connect Google Search Console to Zylx and authorize Claude over MCP, Claude can analyze your real queries, clicks, impressions, and positions from the Business Brain.
Is the Search Console connection read-only?
Yes. Zylx's Google grant is read-only, and there are no Search Console write actions. AI assistants analyze your search data; they cannot modify anything in Search Console.
Do I need to create a Google Cloud project or client ID?
No. The connection uses a single Zylx-owned Google sign-in — no client IDs, no Cloud project setup. Scopes are requested incrementally, so you grant only what you use.
Does one Google sign-in cover Analytics and Ads too?
Yes. The same read-only Google grant covers Google Search Console, GA4, and Google Ads. Connect once; Zylx requests additional scopes only when you use the corresponding integration.
Give AI your real search data
