Terms of Service
Effective date: August 9, 2026
1. The service
ZYLX ("Zylx", "we", "us") provides a business intelligence platform that connects to accounts and data sources you authorize, builds a model of your business (your "Business Brain"), and generates recommendations, content, and — with your approval — actions on connected services. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. You must have the authority to connect any third-party accounts you connect to Zylx.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service to violate any law or the rights of others;
- send spam or unsolicited communications through the service;
- attempt to access data belonging to other accounts;
- probe, disrupt, or overload the service or circumvent its security or usage limits;
- resell or sublicense the service without our written permission.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly in Canadian dollars (CAD) through Stripe. You can cancel at any time via the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months except where required by law. We may change prices with reasonable advance notice — changes apply from your next billing period.
5. AI output
The service uses AI to generate recommendations, analyses, and content. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. It is provided for your review, not as professional advice. Changes to your store, site, or connected services require your approval before they are applied, and you are responsible for the actions you approve. Review AI output before relying on it.
6. Third-party services
The service interoperates with third-party services you choose to connect (for example Shopify, Google, and Stripe). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, and connections may stop working if a provider changes or revokes access.
7. Your data and our IP
You retain all rights to your data and to the content generated for you. We retain all rights to the service, its software, and its branding. You grant us the limited rights needed to process your data to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Warranty disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its output will achieve any particular result.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zylx will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
10. Termination
You may stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for the service or other users. On termination, your right to use the service ends; data deletion is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of Quebec, Canada.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Questions? Reach us via our contact page.
